As the second biggest city in England, Birmingham is a great city with tons to offer.
Aesthetically, Birmingham is probably not as beautiful as many other cities in England and the rest of the world, but it still has some beautiful sites with tons of fun things to do.
A theme that was recurring across England and most of England for that matter was the incredible architecture found almost everywhere and anywhere. With many of Birmingham's buildings being built in the Victorian Era, the churches, city hall and the random streets is what gives Birmingham some of its beauty and uniqueness.
Also, interestingly enough, Birmingham is said to have more canals than Venice!! The canals surround some of the nicest places in Birmingham where you are able to eat and shop just along the water!
